About purchasing uniform
All standard issue uniform items such as socks, shirts, summer dresses and shorts are available from Lowes in Griffith. As our colours are not in high demand in Griffith, items are not always in stock. They can however be ordered in. If you are wanting to purchase items it is a good idea to call beforehand to check that the items are in stock.
All ‘School issue’ items such as sloppy joes, sport’s shirt, sport shorts, tracksuit pants, winter jackets, beanies and hats can be purchased from the school P&C. Contact the P&C directly for all 'School issue' uniform purchases. Second hand uniforms are also available to purchase from the P&C.
Patterns and the purchasing of material for winter dresses can also be arranged by contacting the P&C, who will also be able to provide contact details for people willing and able to make dresses.
Equipment and supplies
All personal items should be clearly labelled.
Items to be supplied by parents:
- School bag – a RSPS School Bag is available to purchase from the school (at a price subsidised by the P&C for Kindergarten students).
- Lunch box with fruit or vegetables for ‘Crunch & Sip’, recess, lunch and a drink bottle
- Paint smock (can be left at school)
Lost property will be stored in the office for a limited period of time.
The following items are donated by the P & C and are available when your child is enrolled in kindergarten at Rankin’s Springs Public School.

Special notes
Summer uniform is worn during terms 1 and 4. Winter uniform is worn during terms 2 and 3. Sport uniform is worn on sport days (Friday each week unless otherwise stated) and for other sporting activities and events.
We ask students to wear hats when outdoors at all times during the year. Students without hats are asked to play in the shade.
